Venlo is a city in The Netherlands. Jacques, who began this chocolate shop and factory over 20 years ago in Eureka, was born and raised in Venlo. The city is close to Germany and Belgium and the Holten family has lived there for centuries. Below are some images from this fine Dutch town. The store is named after this city in appreciation of the heritage that Jacques received from his hometown. Venlo Chocolates was formerly named Sjaak's Fine Chocolates until 2006 when the name was changed.
